Routine and Complex Dentistry

Dental disease is one of the most common ailments in our companion pets. Over 50% of dogs and cats over the age of 3 will have periodontal disease to some extent. Untreated dental disease can be painful and cause significant systemic health problems. Common signs of dental disease and pets in companion animals are:

  • Bad breath
  • Drooling while eating
  • Chewing on one side or swallowing food whole
  • Blood in food or bowl
  • Inflammation of the gums and tartar build up on the teeth

Our clinic is equipped with state of the art IM3 dental x-rays and cleaning machines. Our vets are capable of performing complex extractions as well as basic cleans for you pet’s dental needs. Dentals are typically day procedures at our clinic. All procedures are monitored by our certified veterinary nurses.

We are also able to perform routine and complex dentals on small exotic mammals (rabbits and ferrets).
